History

The original 1727 ring of three by Joseph Smith was augmented to six in 2001 by Taylors, and hung in a new frame by Hayward Mills as a Millennium Project. 

Transport

Armitage church backs onto the Trent and Mersey canal. Bus numbers 817, 826, 828 and 829 stop at the Croft Primary School, a short walk from the church.
