History
St Peter’s church stands 150 feet above the village, on Kinver Edge. The original six bells were retuned, rehung in a new metal frame and augmented to eight by Mears & Stainbank in 1920. By the end of 1999 a restoration project was under way to rehang and retune the bells and to install a first floor ringing chamber. In addition the tenor (1790 John Rudhall) was recast - apparently the last twentieth century Taylor bell.
