History
By the mid-seventeenth century, Elford possessed a ring of five bells. They were recast into a ring of six by Charles & George Mears in 1849. They were rehung in 1922 by Mears & Stainbank in the existing frame. In 1997 the parish made a successful bid to the Millennium Fund for help in funding the retuning and rehanging of the bells in a new metal frame. The work was completed by Taylor's in 1998
