History

Pevsner dates the church as 1843/4 and the tower as 1875 in which case the ring of five Warner bells must have waited fifteen years to be hung or were alternatively stock bells. The bells were rehung and augmented to six by James Barwell in 1920. Tim Holden of Coseley and Ivan Sheffield of Blakenhall rehung all six bells on ball bearings with local help in 1984.
