History

Six bells were cast by Abel Rudhall in 1739. In 1895, Mears & Stainbank recast the old second and augmented the ring to eight adding two metal frames on the side of the original wooden six-bell frame. The bells hang from wooden stocks, the old bells still with their canons, and have been tuned and quarter-turned. They were last rehung in 1930 and are rung from a large, open west-end gallery.
